Wingsuit exit comparison, avoiding tail strike

A good comparison on exit technique. There are many different preferences ( which foot to lead with, exit styles, arms bent vs to the side) but regardless those, you can see the black wingsuiter exiting in a more upright open body position, so when they hit the relative wind, it almost forced them upright, almost hopping up out of the plane, and closer to the rear door edge. The red wingsuiter is seen crouched, diving horizontally/down out of the plane, away from the rear door edge, much safer and stable.

Luckily the jump plane pilot changed his flying for us wingsuiters. There have been enough times this was not the case at other drop zones, and even with a good exit technique we got ripped out the plane concerningly close to the tale.

Please work on your exit techniques in your smaller suits, dialing them in, so when you get to bigger suits with more wing area, ie ATC, Freaks, you are safe for everyone's sake on the plane.
