I’ve just bought the Microcontroller Know How book so this video is very useful. I’m not building the directional coupler myself. I’ve ordered one from VK-Amps with the AD8307 on-board. We don’t seem to have a similar company in the UK with modular elements you can buy.

Thank for sharing. I am doing a project like this in school. I am using a pic microcontroller and programming in C. Just curious which ic you used and which language?

AD8307 is obsolete, I had to twist an arm a while back to get some from another harm's junk box. Wonder what the replacement is...

I never got my directional coupler like this working well. Maybe when the signal generator comes in the mail I’ll pull it out again. Cheers!

Great video, I have the same board from DJ0ABR. Just now, I make my experience with it. But I will use it between 1 W and 1000 W. Do you ever tried TRX power 100 W or more with your direct coupler? the equation-paramters also the same over this range? it would be intressting for me :-) vy73,
