The writers of this song are genius. They took the cliche expression "Mad about you" (an earlier Belinda song, very good too) and made something controversial - or could have been if released as a single. Unfortunately the record company never released the single. They made a music video, even single mix and some other remixes - they probably were afraid of controversy. Would mentally ill people be offended if this song which tries to use obsession as a metaphor for love had airplay? I have never been offended by it although have been suffering from mental illness for years. It tries to use obsession as a metaphor but the song sounds like it would be performed by a obsessed woman. "I cannot work at days, I cannot sleep at nights", lol. It is so true. When thinking of someone, it turns out to be like that. It is true. Especially if you don't get a positive response. This song is pure art, the best from the album, one of her TOP 3 songs. The music video is making me feel awkward and that's why I have watched it so many times on DVD which is included on the deluxe version of the album.


Belinda has a perfect voice for pop music. Her singing makes me feel butterflies in my stomach.
