Appalachian Hydrogen Hub (ARCH2)
This initiative aims to create a clean hydrogen ecosystem in Appalachia. It will focus on improving the production, storage, and delivery of hydrogen in the region. ARCH2 is expected to create jobs in coal communities.

Mid-Atlantic Hydrogen Hub (MACH2)
This coalition aims to use hydrogen as a fuel for regional industries. It plans to develop renewable hydrogen production facilities, expand hydrogen distribution infrastructure, and upgrade bus mechanic depots. Virginia Tech is a member of MACH2.

Virginia CMAQ Incentive Program
This program offers up to $10,000 to state agencies and local governments for new or converted alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs). To be eligible, the vehicles must be garaged in areas of air quality non-attainment.
