Biden has the nerve to say that 'WE" the people are kind of stupid for not seeing the progress being made. My grocery bill has doubled. I live by my self I don't eat fancy but good nutrition is important to me. If Biden doesn't have to eat Spam and potato chips why should I?

Who can shop for Christmas right now? Most of us are too busy trying to figure out how to pay our bills and afford groceries too. Even the best sale isnt enough.

Imagine being on disability. I was a construction Boilermaker making over 80, 000 a year and am now a cripple on disability. This past year was the first year I ever reached out to a food bank after depleting my savings over the past 2 years. This is now very scary. We must have Trump back in 2024. We must have things back to where Trump had our economy before the Biden disaster. We cannot survive another Biden presidency and GOD help us until 2024.

Look at the people that are on Social Security or SSI they’re just barely struggling with no money left over

One thing that they did not mention regarding groceries is that the size of packaged food that we buy also shrunk. About half the time I eat a protein bar for breakfast with some hot tea. The box of 5 protein bars (each bar weighed 2.5 oz) use to cost me $3.89 when Biden was sworn in as POTUS. Now that box of 5 protein bars is now $5.49 and each bar now weighs 1.5 oz.

I am a sole conservative republican in a liberal democrat household, and I warned about Biden-also Kamala- and what would happen if those two were elected. But they all brushed my words away. All things political have been quiet for some time.

Cost of living is out of control, sad!

Sad fact is, there are a hell of a lot of people who would even be happy to lose their own home, and let their own children starve, just as long as Trump isn’t in the president, that’s how deranged they are.

I hope people vote very wisely in 2024 to get us back to prosperity as before this administration

We've been through raising children, working extra jobs, not going on vacations and driving one junk car for years. We had hand-me-downs for clothing, we didn't entertain much unless it was for one of the children's BDs, and we didn't belong to a gym. We got our exercise doing yard work and inside cleaning. We plant a vegetable garden. We know the wonders of casseroles and one-pot meals. We go to the library a lot, and we don't have cable tv. We see the movies available on the library's shelves. We establish priorities----no nail appointments; no eating out; no drinking; no dining out with friends.
Our next door neighbors complain all the time about the high cost of living. But, let's look at what they consider "essentials" in their lives: full cable package with every sports channel going; one night out a week----preferably to dinner and then a hockey game; one trip a week to some entertainment venue; a few dining out activities per month; four vacations a year---and all overseas; nail and hair salon appointments every week; home cleaning service twice a month; and doggie day care five days a week. These are considered their non-negotiable "essentials" and "priorities." Every individual and family is different. Our parents were children of the Great Depression. They knew how to make a dollar stretch and then some. Our neighbors wouldn't think of shopping at a thrift store for their clothing as we do. Our neighbors would never think of eating a casserole (even if it had lobster or steak---their favorites) if their lives depended on it. Every four years like clockwork they trade in their vehicles for newer models with all the bells and whistles. They scoff at us for our frugal ways, but we manage to pay the bills and anticipate when property taxes will be due, car and homeowners insurance bills will arrive, and any credit card bills will come due.
Let's say their essentials and priorities are not the same as ours, and everyone is different and lives differently. In the end, we're doing the best we can under the circumstances of the economy and inflation. We are in fairly good health, and that today is everything. We have a lot to be thankful for every day, and although we don't have a lot of frills in life, we've learned to live within our means----and for every family that varies with what they consider priorities and essentials.

Add in the cost of homeowners and car insurance. It’s getting out of reach.

Where do they get that groceries are up 20%? Try 100%. I'm an empty nester, one person. To eat healthy it's $200.00 a week. In 2019 it was $100.00. Insane!

And yet there are still people who will vote for Biden and the Democrats. Its a real head shaker.

I work road construction in Pa so now I am on unemployment. I can't even use the 'up dated' system they have it won't let me file. I have to call in to file my claim weekly. It takes 2 to 3 hrs. just waiting for them to ans. the phone. Yet I see migrants getting free every thing with my taxes and they are complaining. There is a change coming God bless it.
