I use 90 pound breaking strenght braid on my spinning reel. As long as you thighten it we when you first put on the line its perfect. I have had no isasues its 0.42mm. its for big saltwater fish in norway

As a spinning guy for years, i can always through as far as coventional with a big pit reels and for power there’r alot to chose from ie rods n reels, only for extra big games in daily basis conventional is the way to go .

Can you use a spinning reel on a baitcaster rod. Even tho the lil grip is flipped. First time i fished i did that and never realized the difference.

my problem is i know what reels to use, but i don't know what poles to use for lure casting or bait fishing.
