Trump denies Musk clashed with cabinet members and backlash over U.S. tariffs in Canada

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy pushed back against Elon Musk’s downsizing of the federal workforce in a recent closed-door cabinet meeting, according to two sources familiar with the exchanges. But President Trump said there was no clash. NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez reports. Then, from the streets, to skating rinks, to liquor stores, the backlash in Toronto to Trump’s tariffs on Canadian goods is palpable.
