I know there are talented and capable pilots in every type of aircraft, and I’m sure there are plenty of examples of Pilatus pilots who’ve been having a bad day, but I have been paying attention and I’m continually amazed that PC-12 videos as a group consistently demonstrate some of the smoothest, most perfect approaches and landings I’ve ever seen. Like they’re on rails.

I love the pc12. Such a useful aircraft . It can land and takeoff in some tight spots

That pilot has clearly done that type of landing many times. Wow - very impressive!!

how about some background on the Airport and on the Pilatus ? Impressed to see it landing on a grass strip.

Cool paint job. Is it a military plane, looks like te same stripe as a coastguard plane just not in orange.

There was a cropdusters field up north near Copeland. We would land their sometimes. 4 seat and 6 seat Cessna's, and a few long flights with a Bellanca Citabria from Kelso, Wa. Just miles from Gramps and Grannys house, right at the Porthill turnoff, right by Mt Hall school. Copeland is North of Bonners Ferry. Bonners Ferry/Boundary County had a dual strip north of town(grass or asphalt). This was a long time ago. Several times we almost made Deer Jerky with ryegrass stuffing, by way of Lycoming. Don't know if those strips are still there. Henley's Aerodrome was the location of my first Open Cockpit ride in a Stearman Cropduster Bipe. Long before it was a funpark. I miss the North Kootenai Valley.

I love how the pilot was able to switch the lights on and off while landing the plane.
