Terry Bozio, one of the greatest drummers ever. Dude was a machine.

The early 80’s was lots of fun. This was “new wave” and got played a lot on KROQ in LA which gave its start to tons of artists we still love

One of my fave bands from the 80s. Lady Gaga borrows a few ideas from lead singer Dale Bozzio. Destination Unknown is my favorite, along with Words, and Walking in LA.

As already mentioned they were all in Frank Zappa's band so are great musicians. I really liked this band and have all their albums. Terry is a world class drummer. He was married to singer Dale during this time.

I love Missing Persons. In the late 1970's there was a singer named Lene Lovich who used
this type of New Wave vocals like she does.Songs like "Lucky Number" & "New Toy".

You should react to the Missing Persons’ “Noticeable Ones” and “Walking in L.A., ” both are so good.

I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I heard this back in the day and it still rocks my world 40 years later. Love this track so much and love that YOU love it.

Do "Destination Unknown", you'll love it! All the freaks did back in the day... my day!

Check out "Words" and "Destination Unknown, " great pop songs with a less aggressive sound. "Walking in L.A." is a cool song too. The drummer and singer were husband and wife (Terry and Dale Bozzio). Where's the chicken?

Makes me feel 21 again. Missing Persons, Nina Hagen, Lydia Lunch, Bow Wow Wow, Martha and the Muffins, Romeo Void. Of course the drummer's impressive, you don't work for Zappa without being damn good.

Singer, drummer and guitar player all recorded and/or toured with Frank Zappa. That's a testimony to their musicianship. Yes, this is the punk edge of New Wave.

First heard on KROQ in Los Angeles (actually Orange County for me) in 1982. Great band. Listening to them so many years later, I can appreciate them musically even more.

New Wave would be the best description. Here's one similar...
Berlin, Metro

The frenetic energy at the end of the bridge! Wow! It's almost like you're ready to here or expect an explosion! Like someone's mind is about to explode who's sick and tired of playing Mental Hopscotch. Super talented! Super musicianship! Terry Bozzio's drumming! One of my top favorite New Wave bands of the early 80's. They have like a cool heavy metal-techno rock pop sound. So unique.

Thank you for your reaction India loved at as always. I haven’t heard this song in years. I remember the first time I heard it on the radio I thought it was Deborah Harry from Blondie .❤️😃👍🌼✌️ Love and peace

Punk in attitude, to a degree, but Missing Persons was part of the New Wave as reflected back towards London from Los Angeles. "Walking in L.A." was another of their hits. I don't remember when I first heard "Mental Hopscotch, " but Dale Bozzio definitely caught my attention back then when I was still in my early teens. Yowsa!
