Показать описание
Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu said on November 1 that it would take "20 days" for the Russian air defence systems to take down F-16 fighter jets that are expected to be sent to Ukraine.
Shoigu also said that the military forces of Ukraine are depleting and Russia continues to advance.
The U.S. approved sending F-16s fighter jets to Ukraine from the Netherlands and Denmark in August once pilot training is completed.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has pledged to build an "F-16 coalition" and the Netherlands and Denmark have been among those taking the lead in offering to provide the fighters.
