I got lucky and found out I was definitely breaking out from wearing make up because I was actually having an allergic reaction. Went no makeup in 2020 and haven’t looked back. Best my skin’s ever been. I think the birth control really helps too, but not having my skin reacting did wonders. (Turns out my vinyl glove allergy/bandaid adhesive allergy also applies to some eye liner and make ups that have similar compounds.) It also really helped when I stopped picking at my skin.

Sure, it means I have a wildly uneven skin tone, but a lovely woman changed my life when she came up and said, “oh! You have a peaches and cream complexion, I’ve always loved that”. ❤
