Aristotle was quite the interesting philosopher, and today I thought we'd take a look at his theory known today as Virtue Ethics which he formed to help us live our lives to the best of our abilities. Who knows, it might even be useful for us today!

Aristotle lived for some time at the court of Philip of Macedon and was tutor to Alexander... maybe you wanted to illustrate that with the nice Macedonians?

Damn, the coincidences are happening everytime. I will upload in 1 Hour a video about the 300 Spartans, and you are speaking about the ancient Greek too.

If Aristotle is Daddy Philosophy, does that make Plato GrandDaddy Philosophy and Socrates GreatGrandDaddy Philosophy?

Thank you... excellent themes. Practical virtues include "qualities that transcend narrow self-interest. Such qualities include love, compassion, forbearance, trustworthiness, courage, humility, co-operation and willingness to sacrifice for the common good—qualities of an enlightened citizenry, able to construct a unified world civilization." ~ Baha'i Faith

Nice video and explanation, just one little thing. "Telos" in ancient greek means "completion". The explanation behind the etymology of the word is that according to Aristotle when you reach completion, eydaimonia, you fullfill you purpose predefined by nature. It's easy to mix up.
