IMO Zilla Jr could take on a fair few versions of Godzilla. Zilla Jr is rather durable, very strong, and his atomic breath is impressive actually. That combined with his speed, agility, leaping ability, burrowing, high intellect, and aquatic prowess, would make Zilla Jr a formidable opponent for many Godzillas.

I would argue durability, both have shown immunity to conventional weaponry, zilla only showing weakness during the juvenile stage, where zilla takes the lead is being able to tank many hits from advanced alien ships able to destroy cities with little to no effort

While 54 Godzilla is a fantastic movie, this (and most fights of the OG vs other Kaiju) ends up being a stomp.
Even the points given to the OG here are super questionable, more like hell no.

Strength: Zilla Jr was able to overpower other Kaiju of similar weight, given his weight advantage that trumps OG rampaging through Tokyo.

Durability: OG resisted an electric current and 50's artillery but retreated once the F-86 started to bombard him, Zilla Jr. got hit with modern artillery, modern aircraft, Kaijus some of them delivering electric currents, Alien Spaceships and a Cybernetic version of his dad enhanced with alien tech.

Experience: Zilla Jr. fought multiple Kaijus the guy literally has a monster of the week series, OG lived a lived a normal life as a Godzillasaurus (presumably since OG might not be the same case as Heisei) only rampaged through Tokyo once and died to the Oxygen destroyer, yeah they theorized that he lived for millions of years with one of those randomly made off the bat theories that are common in Japanese Godzilla movies without any kind of evidence to support it, but even if it's true it's a normal long life vs a shorter life filled with Kaiju fighting.

AP+DC: OG has the feat of melting steel that occurs at 2200 to 2500 Fahrenheit, Zilla Jr. has that and turning sand to glass that occurs at 3200 Fahrenheit.
Resistance: Kaiju attacks + modern weaponry + Alien weaponry>>>>50's weaponry

So yeah while I love the OG he's not taking anything in a fight vs a Kaiju that has faced multiple kaijus unless you count that theory of him living for millions of years and count living a long peaceful life with only rampaging Tokyo once as more experience than Zilla Jr. fighting multiple monsters during the series.

I wouldn't give Gojira Experience, he may be the very first Godzilla, but that doesn't mean he's the most experienced. He's had no experience in combat, while Zilla fights Monsters on a daily basis
