Travelers voice their frustrations as the aftermath from the global Microsoft outage continues to delay and cancel flights across the country. KARE’s Jessica Harts reports.

CrowdStrike has downplayed the difficulty in getting computers back up and running. It’s not easy and CrowdStrike isn’t being very helpful. You can’t just boot into safe mode and go to a command prompt to enter the registry and delete the affected files. It’s a complicated process.

This is why I never fly in the month of July, or anytime in the dead of summer. Too many delays, cancellations, bad weather, and all around chaos. And yes, the Microsoft/Crowdstrike outage certainly made things infinitely more miserable too.

Delta just sucks. They canceled my flight twice, so we just gave up on our trip. Other airlines also have delays and cancellations, but not as bad as Delta. American Airlines seems to have better response to this IT outage than Delta, at least their customers are still able to board the plane.
I only chose Delta because it’s cheaper, but now I probably will avoid it for important trips.
