We are headed to Normandy while in France. After 20 years as a AF spouse I want to go pay my respects to our troops that gave it all. We will be in France next year too so...eventually I'll see Paris. Don has an incredible spirit. Prayers for Don and his family. I want to go to Kennedy Space center but I have to go to The Space and Rocket center down the road from me for a start. We are blended and started cruising as a couple when the last kid was in college, we then included dear friends and family and now we have moved from easy Caribbean cruising to checking off places we want to see before old age hits us.

I'm not even a huge art person but the Louvre was amazing and seeing the Mona Lisa was something I will never forget. Enjoy! I have enjoyed traveling with you vacariously!

My favorite thing on Princess ships are the Almond Croissants at the International Cafe. I usually have one every morning with my coffee. I do love their sandwiches too. It’s a good place for a light meal or snack.

We had a similar excursion in Paris, although our lunch was on a boat in the Seine. It is a loooong bus ride. Still, fun and we're glad we went.

I did that cruise last year with a port in Edinburgh. Paris is a nice visit. We took the river cruise for dinner and then went to the Eiffel Tower. Glasgow was my favorite port. Enjoy ❤

Paris' breads are amazing.. You'll be in awe of the Eiffel Tower.. The Louve is pretty cool.. I was there 22 years ago and would love to go back..

That would be weird if there was no bacon at the buffet. Could you imagine a baconless cruise ship?

If you have time in London, you should try to see the Treasures of the British Library. They have some very significant historical documents and it’s free and a manageable size. The National Gallery is also amazing. The British Museum is amazing, but on the larger side.

I’m looking forward to seeing your experience in Seattle. I’m originally from there (I live in Colorado now). Whoever mentioned clam chowder is right! It’s a major Washington thing.

Do you know if you have any Scottish clans in your family?

I actually did a video on being an introvert on a cruise ship. I think people would assume that introverts would not like a cruise, but I think they are great because there is so much variety that there are plenty of ways for an introvert to recharge their batteries. Mom and I cruise together and usually spend most sea days apart except for meals.

Great to see your Scotland videos. I'm Scotish/English too and my wife is Irish/English. My family castle, Thirlestane, is the oldest continuously occupied castle in Scotland. You should return some early August to Edinburgh to see the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a massing of pipe and drum bands from all over the world. It's amazing. Oh, by the way...I think you should say Robert The Bruce rather than Robert Bruce. Safe travels to you Tony.

I only recently discovered La Lido Loco. I love watching travel programmes but usually don't watch stuff to do with UK. Really enjoyed the Scottish stops as you went by my house when you were on the Glasgow tour bus. Love your style and and informative presentation. Your visit to the Blarney stone was impressive. Visited there a number of year ago and forgot how amazing it was. I will be watching both your past and future blogs.
