FLYING FREE is a late intermediate harp solo full of hope and delight. Once you have mastered the syncopated rhythms, you will find that the structure and patterns in the piece make it easy memorize and comfortable to play. Focus on bringing out the thumb's hidden melody.

Really enjoyed reading this and playing it through today, I was so delighted to be able to read it and of course I can hear the rhythm from listening to you play it… oh so slowly. I think I can manage this one this year 😀🎉

Ahhh how have I only just heard this beautiful song! I’m so adding this to my repertoire…thank you Anne, another beauty. I love how you make these beautiful songs so accessible for us & so comfortable to play. Playing your songs, do take practice especially with the pauses and the “feeling” as you play, yet they are comfortable on the fingers and I feel like I learn songs quicker! But the amazing thing is, the pieces are just so beautiful it sounds like when you play them you’re advanced.

You’re teaching me so much about how to have your body & soul in tune with the music and harp.

Amazing work Anne!

I think I’ve fallen in love with this piece! I’m only a beginner, but hopefully will be able to try it before too long....

Oh! I'd forgotten this! I had it and worked on it and nearly memorized it. Then it got buried in my notebook. Was fun to hear/see this again and pull it out and start playing it again. My hands don't look as graceful as yours, though...you have such beautiful motion. Also, I wanted to see what you did with your left hand when that right hand shows off at the bottom of page one. You look so natural...my left hand wants to just hang out in mid-air. lol

Is this inspired by "two" by sleeping at last? It sounds exactly like it!
