The Touareg SUV was originally launched in 2003 and then significantly updated in 2010. It majors on luxury, although it also has the capability to tackle more extreme conditions than most drivers will ever experience. The latest version is much lighter than the original, despite being bigger.

Touareg is the name of people who live in the desert located on the boards among libya, Niger and chad, use horses to move, live in tents, ....

I think it's the best name for hard off-road car :)

I find it funny how every car reviewer talks about that transmission running through the middle of the car causing that bump on the floor when your sitting in the middle seat of the car. Your never put your feet like that on top of it; your feet go on each side and the two peoples feet next to you simply move over, get what I mean?

I'm not talking about saving money, I'm saying that for the price they quoted you expect the parts to be at the end of their life, however when the manager of the local MOT centre was asked he said the brakes still had plenty of life left in them, that's why I'm saying to be cautious, because sometimes they give you the impression that a repair or replacement is absolutely necessary when it is not, and agree with you on that, it also gives you a chance to source parts and troubleshoot problems

ok so after i spent two months looking for an SUV as a family car i stopped at Touareg..Why?Because i can get '13-14 model with 30-40k miles for around $21k which is less than loaded Corolla loool . The way it looks, Touareg is way sexier looking than most SUVs on the road.i dont care about third row otherwise i should go with Suburban. i love how simple Touareg is designed inside and has very comfortable seats plus reclining back, sliding and folding rear seats. i hate when leather seats get fucked up in the first year of using a new vehicle so Touaregs leatherette is what i need bc they keep theyre form fo looong time. And finally when it comes to off road those Acura MDX, MB ML, İnfiniti FX, Nissan Murano do not even come close .
