In this video I show you how I made a speaker box, out of marine plywood, to house my speakers.
The construction is quite easy and self explanatory, if you watch the video carefuly.
The electric connections howerver are a bit complicated, so it's not a bad idea to search the internet for a simple schematic on how to connect the different frequency speakers within the box.
A crossover unit is highly recomended as is the use of an amplifier.
These speakers are meant for stationary use, with a simple amplifier, using power from the wall outlet.
They're not made for installation in a car.
I also used a set of LED lights, parallel with the speakers and the woofers, to give an extra funky effect.
I turn them on and off with a separate switch.
The LEDs are connected in series with each other, and parallel with the corresponding speakers.
Don't forget to make extra holes for venting the air, as the speakers displace a considerable amount of air as they operate.
The wires should also be of different gauge. The thicker wires for the bigger speakers or woofers, the thinner wires for the twitters.
