Just so you guys know, that wasn't a missile or nuke. It was a weapon that doesn't use explosives of any kind, just the kinetic force generated from re-entry. Google "Kinetic Bombardment".

half right, They mainly changed it because Tatum dies in that beginning sequence. Youtube, IGN, gamespot, etc any site that has a comment section for trailers did not like that fact that the main character in the first film dies in the 2nd so early on. 3D doesn't take long as the age of technology is digital.

Duke wont die he's one of the main characters. His character is assumed dead because he goes on convert missions later if you know your G.I Joe history

It got postponed like a month before release, they said they wanted to add 3D to it

Duke dies which I think they went back and changed and that's pretty much it. Oh and the rock makes an appearance as some wanna be tough guy.

They delayed because they wanted to add Tatum back longer for a little bit more scenes, Because they killed him off too soon and also they wanted the 3D better
