How do I get more VRBO bookings? Or any VRBO bookings for that matter! It's probably the most common question I hear on this channel and in any of the Airbnb, VRBO, short term rental communities I follow. I'll tell you how I went from 90% Airbnb bookings to 85%+ VRBO bookings and why that may or may not be a good thing.

We LOVE VRBO! The one thing we noticed is we get more bookings on our larger homes with VRBO. And a good majority of the VRBO guests are either older or families. Haven’t had to use VRBOs customer service much at all in the years we’ve been using them. We do get more scam inquires with VRBO especially when a listing is new. We just mark those as spam in VRBO.

The VRBO problem is ONLY on the mobile phone (NOT a problem on the APP or computer).
When a potential guest clicks into "flexible" on my calendar, it doesn't bring them to my calendar; rather, it brings them to all my competitors' listings.

Is it true that if you allow early check in or late check out, Airbnb won’t cover any incident that happens outside the scheduled regular time of the stay? So if check out is at 11 and the guest falls down the stairs at 12, Airbnb won’t cover it.

Why would people prefer bookings from VRBO vs airbnb? It didn’t say in the video. All points listed were pro Airbnb or neutral.
