I think one should be careful to say that being AFAB has anything to do with being a lesbian. Many AMAB (often transfeminine) non-binary people are also lesbians! When non-binary people identify as lesbians, I think it often has more to do with your gender alignment, and if you as a non-binary person feel a connection to womanhood or lesbianism. Being non-binary is a spectrum, and it is totally fine to feel like you in some capacity relate to experiences or orientations often associated with a binary gender - but that doesn't mean that it is inherently linked to whether you are assigned that gender at birth or not. I have seen many people online define lesbians as "women or woman-aligned people attracted to women or woman-aligned people" - just wanted to share it if others find that terminology helpful <3 PS: Love your work and your channel! <3

I found this really comforting and helpful. My partner and I (nblw lesbians) are long-distance, and since my parents aren't accepting, it's nearly impossible for me to visit them. This has been a wonderful learning experience for me—they are actively getting an autism diagnosis and both of us strongly suspect that I have autism, ADHD, or both, but I'm currently unable to get a diagnosis. I've learned a lot about how to accommodate their needs as an autistic individual and how to better care for myself as well. It warms my heart to see you two so happy together with such good communication. Beautiful individuals, thank you ❤

Thanks for sharing this video, Keara and Lauren. I was so close to having my first visitor over my three years of living on my own, something I have really wanted for quite a while. My best friend who lives out of state had a tentative date on making that happen two months ago, but because of job reasons, that had to wait until next year. Coming from someone diagnosed with autism, I am thankful of my other best friends who gave me the space to vent all of my intense emotions within the 24 hours following my best friend's note of not being able to make it. I have had those who would say my emotions are too big when it comes to not being able to see the people who mean the world to me, but I agree the right people would never make me feel like I have to hide my pain even after two months have passed.

If I only I could finally meet you, too, it would be so very grand.

As a non-binary person, I personally use the term Trixic (a non-binary person who is attracted to women exclusively or not). It feels more appealing and appropriate to use, regarding my own gender. Especially since for me, my gender includes masculine genders (I’m fluid between enby, demiboy, and trans man).

Keara/Lauren: Im a 75yo straight male & here is what I THINK. All this labeling is based on what you feel at a given period of your life based on what your certain harmone levels are.(straight, bi, gay, lesbian ect) are determined by levels of certain harmones such as estrogen, protein, testosterone, Amines, Peptide & plant harmones such as ethylene, auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins and probably others that have not been discovered yet. I am not sure that medical science has remedies at this time, my guess is they don't, which is not the answer that women need, I understand that. Many factors dictate which particular harmone will be effective for each person, such as age, body weight, metabolism ect. I don't THINK there will ever be a magic pill fix...

Okay so I have ADHD (diagnosed) and I was also recently diagnosed with autism, but I really don’t think that’s an accurate diagnosis for me. The psychiatrist said I’m “super mildly” on the spectrum and the behaviors she pointed to were all also ADHD behaviors (which I know factually that I have). My therapist and I are actually working on talking to the doctor but omg trying to advocate against a misdiagnosis when you’re a teenager against a successful doctor is so genuinely frustrating 😭 anyone have advice?
