Not calling a penalty for the hit on Poehling was pretty bad but what made it worse was them calling a penalty on Risto for the little hit on Pageau. Just so bad and inconsistent.

He handles the idiot media the way u should. # 7 should've been dealt with when he ran the goalie in the 1st period but the flyers keep their discipline

Good thing the reporters didn't ask him about Jamies disastrous efforts in the 3rd period. The problem with Jamie is that when he's trying to defend he needs to throw his stick away. He's got the worst stick on d in the league. If he sawed off the blade it would be an improvement.

Then we have Sanheim who was on the ice for 2 goals. Another 27 minute game when he has nothing left. The Barzal goal was a complete derelict of duty. Just mailed it in Jamie style on that play.

Then we have Big Macvie Michkov who has 2 goals in the last 19 games. This guy didn't train very much in the off season thats for sure.

Tortorella was not happy with this game. The Islanders are a tragedy on top of a joke, they were gawd awful the entire game. Look at Tortorellas mannerisms in this interview. He knows he's in big big trouble. Look at Stan Butler coach and GM of the Erie Otters, Jamies old junior team as well as Connor McDavid, and probably number 1 draft pick this year Matthew Schaeffer. Stan Butler has suddenly disappeared. The Erie Otters announced today that "we are reviewing team policy" whatever that means. I think it means they're broke and have to do a "Carter H" if you get my drift. They were about to relocate in 2019 to Hamilton but escaped the reaper. Why does this matter? Its a canary in the anthracite coal mine. I think Tortorella won't keep his job past 4 nations. This team has to be a stanley cup finalist team right now or its SHTF Stan Butler style for Johnny T.

That was a text book CLEAN hit. Feet were planted on the ice, glided into the hit. Shoulder to shoulder contact.

What's eh supposed to do, just let that Philly player waltz from the corner right in front of the net.

It was 100% a pure hockey play.

As a side note. Put on a suit Torts ya bum. You're coaching an NHL team not some putz south Philly beer league
