Korg NTS-1 Digital Synth Controlled by Novation Launchkey Mini Mk3 MIDI Controller

The Korg NTS-1 is a nifty little mono synth. The Novation Launchkey Mini Mk3 is a nifty little MIDI controller keyboard. This is not a review of either, as there are plenty of other videos out there that cover them. However, I wanted to show how putting the two together make a nice combo. By using the excellent arpeggiator and assignable control knobs on the Launchkey Mini Mk3, you can elevate the experience of playing the NTS-1.

Edit: near the end around 5:42 I mention the delay is going full wet... it is not the delay, but the reverb actually going full wet.

can i ask you something?, i have a set of volcas and the nts1, and i want to control everything with the mini mk3, it´s possible with a midi port? there is a way to switch channels and control one thing or another?

I really appreciate that you posted this video. Any chance you'd discuss how you went about integrating the two? I understand the NTS-1 midi channel settings but for the life of me I can't work out how to use Components to get the Launchkey to make the connection.

That's a really nice combo. I have the launchkey Mini MKIII. I'm not good at understanding connections. Is it just a case of connecting the launchkey to the NTS-1 with a 3.5mm cable, and then connect the NTS-1 to my monitors. Thank you.

Hi man, congrats. impressive work here! Is there any way to AUTOMIZE all the knobs changes? It would be great to record all the fx and fm modulation sent to the NTS1 via MIDI from the Launchkey...taken for granted that you are using the LKmini arpeggiator and that there is some "memory" space on the LKmini it self.

Hi i want to buy launchkeys but i have question.. i want to use it in novation circuit but how about the assigment of channel? Coz circuit has two channel for synth.but i am worried that it will work only in one channel. Or i just need to press the synth 1 synth 2 whenever i want?to activate which synth u want to use? Have you figured out how to get rid of the pads being lit up blue when using it with hardware? The blue pads on mine are driving me nuts. Lol

Im trying to get this thing working with protools 10, why is there no stop button on the transport? How do I stop the session... and i cant get into session mode, it doesn't appear when I press shift :(

Hey there, great video! I landed here while looking for a way to connect my launchkey 37 mk3 to my external roland se 02 synthesizer. I am a complete novice and I cannot get the keys or the pots to communicate with the synth, while the pitch bend and the modulation wheel do work. Back when I first hooked up the whole set up, everything worked fine. But right now, i don't know what I'm missing. Could you help please?

can u help me? i just updated my launchkey mini mk 3 to newest firmware, and the korg nts didnt detected on launchkey mini, before i updated to newest firmware, it was work well. did u have same issues like me when u updated your launchkey mini to newest firmware?
