I can confirm that the 992 is a brilliant 911 even better turbo flat six now. More efficient, more performance.
And it looks more stunning with all the tribute touches. But the complains i have is the lack of direct controls for some buttons, the PCM is great but we just need some button really.
And those who are in the EU worried about the sound, just wait for a year till all the aftermarket solutions come up with OPF solutions.
Other markets without the OPF, NZ, Aussie, Canada USA etc enjoy the even better sports exhaust than the 991.

When the 991 came out and people were saying it was "too big" and the electric steering didn't feel as good I actually disagreed (at least on the size). It didn't feel much bigger than the 997 to me and the interior is way nicer. The 992 is really underwhelming me so far. I much prefer the 991.1 NA motor sound, the glossy black interior parts look cheap and the cool cupholders are gone. The much wider nose means the car no longer has the classic 911 hips (although I like the new bonnet design) and the rear bumper has a big void of ugly plain plastic right the way across unless you spec the sport design package.
