I can't really explain where it comes from, because I don't really think I had heard it before it came on in a cafe the other day, but this song gives me such an enormous sense of joy.

It's like an intense sense of nostalgia for something that I cannot really remember. Like the soundtrack from a favorite movie that I have not yet actually watched. Like a concert that happened a summer long ago in a park somewhere, which I've heard great stories from but didn't attend myself. It's an abstract kind of feeling.

I've been looking for this song for a while. So glad I finally found it, and glad to know the meaning, which rings true for the occasion I selected it for: background music for our wedding "getting ready" video. That was a very happy day. This song brings me back: white gown, beautiful veil. Smiles. Hope. Sadly, the marriage only lasted 8 years. I have a vacuum, standing mixer, stoneware and a slow cooker that outlived it! Alas, "this one morning" back in 2003, I decided to roll the dice to see if we could make it. We did not!
