Find: 𝐥𝐢𝐦it of 𝐥𝐧(𝒙+𝟏)^𝟐/𝒙 as (𝒙→𝟎). This is the 0/0 type limit. Although we can take derivatives on the numerator and the denominator to simplify the limit, we just use basic algebra and the definition of e to get the answer.

Also limit is in indeterminate form 0/0.

So lim x approaches 0 = 2/(x+1)/(1) = 2 by applying lhospital’s rule once(take derivative of numerator and denominator) chain rule used for numerator.

The limit of ln(1 +x)/x in 0 is a fundamental limit.
