Very impressive new lens! It's impressive that the length and overall appearance doesn't seem to be any longer than the (Sigma 150-600mm) which I tried a few days and returned to the store. However for that extra 60-150mm range it's still a (2100g with 95mm Filter > 2500g with 105mm Filter + 1000$) so you gotta make sure you will need that full range. For the kind of person who does a lot of expeditions like in this super video, very good marketing job by the way Sigma, then it is really worth it as you can keep the same lens at all time mounted without ever having to swap but for a casual or sub-urban citizen I'd say it is just way too heavy and bulky.

I returned mine yesterday for a (Sigma 100-400mm DG DN OS) which I absolutely love! 2x smaller, 2x shorter, 25% cheaper, smaller diameter "67mm vs 95mm", lower wide-end... yet the zoom magnification between 400mm and 600mm is MUCH SMALLER than 200mm to 400mm, so in my own personal opinion it wasn't worth all the trades off.

I also bought last week a (Sigma 85mm F1.4 + Sigma 24-70 F2.8 Art), best bang for the buck. Very good sales at this time of the year, thanks Sigma. My new lens with the (Sony A7IV) is much bette than the (Canon R6) I sold. I switched to Sony just so I could get Sigma lens and no more adapters.

I have this lens on Nikon F mount. I so wish I could buy an adapter for my Sony E mount cameras. Commlite do adapters for F mount to E mount, others do but I'm sure they're all rebadged Commlites. I am trying to find a mount adapter with compatibility. Anyone have any

Haha it's an awesome lens but paired with a POS sony camera. Sony does not give rich colours at all.
