This in no way affects the price you pay, or my decision to include the product in my recommendations. I always seek out the pieces that I truly believe in and think you will have for years to come. For 70's style, I loved Ali MacGraw. I think you would look fabulous in her style, especially from the 1970 movie "Love Story" 💕

I love Jackie Kennedy’s post White House, 70s, simple, elegant style. White jeans, cashmere sweater, silk scarf and big sunnies, iconic.

What I love most about this kind of your videos is how you break down elements of each look rather than recreating as is. That’s really helpful and inspiring!!

The pleated coulottes are to die for! I am 64 and came of age in the 70s. Those coulottes embody the best graceful lines of the decade. Dare I say timeless?!

I love watching your videos because you deconstruct the look and make it work for you, your wardrobe and your body shape instead of running out and buying something new.

I love the fact that you can verbally express when something is off and then you keep correcting it until it's absolutely flawless. Like with the slouchy boots. Love your videos! 😀

Diane Keaton is my style icon since I was 10 years old. Now that I'm a 52 year old lady, I still love masculine tailored clothes, layering etc...Also, the musical cue on the DK outfit reveal was spot on PERFECT. Someone has watched Manhattan and understood the assignment. You knocked that one out of the park. Subscribing NOW.

What did I just learn from that? The power of a hat! The Diana Ross inspired look without the hat was OK to me, but add the hat and WOW, a whole new level and then some! So glad you included Diane Keaton too. I absolutely adore her sense of style. If I could rock it like that when I reach her age, gosh would I be happy! Thanks for all the inspiration you give - because of you I look at my wardrobe, and what I buy for it, completely differently now.

Alyssa, I love what you continually put together without going out and buying! I have been following you for several months now and I am amazed by the number of great outfits you have managed to create. I have rediscovered my closet thanks to you and the beautiful blazers, sweaters, shoes, boots, etc that I have collected over the years! I am so glad that I have kept the classics while letting go of many pieces that I either rarely wore or were simply not my style as a result of impulse buying in the past. Thank you for your dedication to slow fashion and helping us become more conscientious regarding needless spending and its negative impact on our planet.

You can make amazing “dupes”. I love all the looks. I’m really loving the 70’s look.

Part of what makes your Diana Ross interpretation work so well is the bookending of your dark hair with the dark boots. Nice!

I love these recreating outfits from your closet. Not being in fashion, I know nothing about silhouettes, texture, etc., so I learn as you talk about all those.

Your style is so close to mine and I love how you shop your closet. This helps me see how much I can create within my own closet and not go shopping. Thanks as always.

You nailed it! Those white culottes are bomb. Who would've thought they'd be so versatile. Great outfits. Thank you. ❤.

When you added the hat to the 2nd look, it immediately jumped to fabulous! Nicely done! And I had a similar pleated lightweight white culotte/skirt in the late 80’s that I recently passed on to my daughter, who loves them! I’ll have to share your video with her to give her some styling ideas. Thanks!
