Me: I'm looking for a lightweight foundation. Coverage should be medium to full. I prefer a satin finish but I'll also accept matte. My skin is dry but I need a formula that doesn't emphasize t-zone oil. I like thick consistency. It should last a minimum of 12 hours and not oxidize. I do have a foundation brush but I prefer to use a beauty blender. Would be great if the coverage was buildable. Thanks!

I just commented this on an old video of yours where you were having a particularly rough migraine day but I wanted you to see it here too. Just so you know ❤
My mom suffers from a rare type of paraplegic migraines which render her unconscious and then when she regains consciousness she is completely paralyzed until the migraine subsides with the effects lasting up to 2 weeks (vocal cords always the last to come back).
The biggest thing she struggles with is being a burden and I know you get told this and know it to be true, but sometimes it's nice to hear; your struggles are not a burden to those that care about you. While an internet following isn't the most involved and definitely a more one sided relationship you still have a lot of people that care about you.
The fact that you still put out content and maintain a full time job is remarkable. No one would ever fault you for taking a few personal health days even for 15 days of foundation.

It's neither piling not pilling - it's called pooling, and it's when the foundation slides off the flatter areas of the skin and gathers in little pools in the pores. This means the foundation adheres better to itself than to the skin underneath. I have normal/dry, sensitive skin, and the KGD foundation is one of my favourites, BUT it's because I need little coverage - I wouldn't advice building this one up, as it then slides around more. Also: I feel I REALLY need to set the foundation with powder, of it will slide around during the day. If I set it, it lasts much better on me, but again: I use only 1 pump for my entire face

My reasons for liking it:
- no adverse skin reactions
- very natural coverage
- comfortable on my skin
- hides flakiness, unlike most other foundations
- one of the rare foundations that match my very yellow skin perfectly
- lasts well on me (I used it for my wedding, and I still looked good after 12 hours), but if you prefer things like MAC Pro-Longwear, Revelon Colorstay, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 H, Guerlain Parfure Gold, Shiseido Sun Protection Liquid foundation or Dior Forever, this cannot really compare to those

Just fyi Gen is pronounced with a hard G, like in golf. It looked so beautiful when first applied! I wonder if it was interacting with the primer strangely considering it's a water-based foundation.

This is the only foundation I use! I absolutely adore it! I even have a backup bottle and my main bottle is very close to done. The color is a perfect match. I am the same shade as Taylaa and it blends out so evenly. The coverage looks natural and has a plump fresh look to it that I don't find in my other BB creams. It builds great on areas I have more dark spots. I love this stuff and a bottle lasts me over a year because I don't wear foundation daily. I just use a little sometimes if i need more coverage over my tinted sunblock. If you have sensitive, reactive, pale skin and want a very natural looking foundation then you should give this a try!

I have been using this foundation for the past 5 years and it frigging changed my life. Holy shit. It is just perfection. Yeah, it's 62$, but you know what? I use it EVERY DAY, and the whole bottle lasts A YEAR! It's just so wonderful. If you do not like the "cakey" heavy foundation, this is for you. I love it because it covers all my imperfections and hyper pigmentation spots, but it still LOOKS like my real skin! If I'm having a bad skin day, I just add another layer and poof it's gone. It's a satin finish with a slight dewy shimmer. It's just liquid beauty. Koh Gen Do is a Japanese company that they market to Japanese actresses. Actresses use this on their movies!! That's how perfect it has to be! I just can't say anything bad about this foundation, if you like foundation that doesn't look like make up= holy grail found! I have never had the allergic reaction problem or "pilling" problem that she had... NEVER had the little white spots. Just because it happened to her, doesn't mean it will happen to you. I would never use any other foundation ever again and I pray that KGD doesn't stop making it cuz it is perfect.

I have similar skin and some foundations do that to me too. I think it's just not meant for oily skin, so that's why it's doing it in the t-zone. Other foundations have done it and no matter what primer i use it still does that. Basically it's sinking into every pore and creating a mound on that pore. So the foundation is like a magnet to your pores and it seperates and finds its way to a pore and sits on top.

I totally know what those little white piling up dots are from. a lot of Korean and Japanese foundation have this stuff in it that is meant to absorb the oil your skin produces. it's meant to act kinda like a powder. it tends to completely backfire on people who have oily skin. I've had this happen to me before when I was super sweaty after applying Korean powder and I saw it happen to Edward Avila a few times in his videos before he figured out what ingredient it was that was doing it. after I post this, I'll Google it to find the name of the thing I'm talking about.
