We're looking at a 1955 Willys Jeep Utility Wagon in Red Paint.

The car's Owner is Louis “Rev” Revisky. Rev’s had this car since 2017. He shares he was by a Friends place and the Friend made him and offer he couldn’t refuse, so he bought this one. He’s been finding parts and been restoring himself and this one looks and runs really good.

STILL IN THE FAMILY. MY cousin Kacey Harnish owns it now.Its being completely redone.I could go on &on .was more like part of the family.than an outomobile.I am the grand son of the guy who Baught it new.& proud to say I was the one who passed it on.57 yrs old & weeping right now.

Is this the original Jeep sport utility? Now here's a true collectable and American classic. Love the no-nonesense, no frills Willys here. Thanks for sharing guys.

We had a similar WILLY's in our shop for a year or so, and the mayor of our town used to come over there after hours and drink with my step-dad. Mayor Al would get kinda drunk and start making crazy offers on that WILLY's. And Ralphie (step- dad) would turn him down, just for laughs. Thanks for jogging out a memory, Lou!

Another neat vehicle made in the 50's, I've always been impressed by how smooth those flathead engines are. Great video Lou!

This so reminds me of the movie "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, World". Who could forget the scene with Terry Thomas picking up the gang and making him go off the road wrecking the front end. "I hope you haven't damaged this machine....". LOL Anyway, very nice example. So many of these obviously gotten driven to death.

Very nice and interesting car. I like the "driving part" of this video. That shifting gears is really funny:-)

These were seen in India through 90s. To date SUVs are generically referred to as Jeeps in India. I think many were post war imports. Brings back memories. Thanks Lou

Always love the earlier jeeps back when they were built for rugged use. This wagon is really special and is a real treat .

Very nice! I don't think I've ever seen a workhorse like this one in such a fine, yet drivable condition. It was great to visit with Rev again, too. Thanks, Lou!

Very nice and very beautiful car. This is very original with very few modifications. Such original vehicles have historical value and they must be preserved in museums under the best preserving conditions.

Throwback 4x4 wagon, neat chrome detailing, I could see a Pendleton shirt type running overland with this model, very rugged and basic, perfect for a dusty road to a remote lake in the summer. Like the fact spare is inside and easy to get at! Nice willys stamping on the bumper.

Ah, it has been years since I have seen a Willy's. And yet another vehicle made when I was born! Thanks for another super great video, Lou!

This has to be one of my favourites that you have featured on your show, Lou. ! "Rev" has a great looking Jeep & I love the classic older look that those have, with plenty of chrome on the front. I noticed it has no radio either. Maybe in the different gear ranges you couldn't hear it anyway ! 4.88 gears- wow ! I know where 2 of these (in pick-up trk form) are setting a couple miles from each other, both very restorable ! Thanks to rev, and to you Lou for the cool drive .!
