As someone who struggles with severe social anxiety, seeing how happy and confident you are in public despite coming across as a little 'awkward' is incredibly uplifting. I'm from the UK and people aren't too chatty or friendly here, but it's nice to imagine that no matter how awkward I could come across there'll always be people whose days are made better by a friendly chat, a few kind words, or a smile.

Honestly, yes, Ryan is super awkward, and it makes for some oddly funny moments for viewers where they feel awkward because of whatever’s happening as well, but throughout this series Ryan has been getting so much better about social interactions, and you can feel it. It’s honestly really interesting. The series itself just has such an amazing development, and it’s so incredibly well done all throughout. Kudos to this man!!

I’m going through a really low point in my life right now and just keep having extreme negative after extreme negative jump out at me and it’s SO hard, but rewatching this series gives me hope that I can travel and meet new people and experience new amazing things all the time in the future just like Ryan does in this series.
