Subnautica: psvr2 pc adapter gameplay Submersed VR mod Sense controllers

Note (edit): Youtube seems to have incorrectly processed the color space of this Nvidia Shadowplay recording (driver 591.06) which, according to VLC codec info, is bt.601 with bt.709 transfer function. As a result, darks are crushed. This is most apparent in dark scenes. My desktop monitor was set to RGB Full. I'm looking into using OBS with the VR plugin for future recordings. This video is still watchable in most parts though.
[EDIT 2 (Sept. 21): A 45 min test recording with that plugin+OBS, using a new save game slot, turned out to be an all-big-block-pixelated, few-color, double-eye, quarter-window capture, and also caused a massive performance hit, so I'm skipping that plugin for now as I'm pretty sure my OBS nvenc recording, advanced, mirror eye, and source options were set up right. I plan to do one more short OBS test recording ("display capture") without that plugin, and if performance hit is not close to Shadowplay's then I'll just return to using Shadowplay for my next real session which will continue from where this video ends.]
[Edit 3 (Sat. Sept. 21): OBS, with or without the openvr plugin, isn't recording my Steamvr mirror desktop screen except as described above. Also, the noticeable in-game performance hit, even with reduced render resolutions, has been way too high for me to waste significant time in the near future experimenting with it. It looks as if I'll be returning to Shadowplay for now (or possibly try Steam's built-in capture utility which I haven't done). I'd prefer to put the time into gaming. Too bad Youtube is back to mis-processing colors of non-HDR Nvidia Shadowplay videos (it was fixed in the past).]

Starting over from the beginning. Yesterday I posted a video of my second gameplay session on PSVR2 (otherwise hadn't played since January 2016, while Subnautica was still in early access, when I played a few hours on Oculus DK2 with mouse and keyboard). This video is a recording of my third session on PSVR2. I didn't die this time (Freedom mode which omits hunger and thirst btw). I might play again tonight continuing from the point where this video ends.
I set up the PSVR2 pc adapter for the first time 4-5 days ago. I'm using the Asus BT500 bluetooth adapter with a $3 USB 1m extender cable connected to a USB 2.0 port. I've had no tracking or controller disconnect issues but I do usually have to "remove" and then re-add/re-pair each Sense controller (in Windows 11 bluetooth settings) before each new vr session (not between games). Unless I do that, the controllers remain listed in bluetooth settings but it says they're not connected and there's no connect button (just holding the PS buttons or initiating Sense pairing doesn't do the trick, either). Latest Nvidia Geforce driver v561.09. Gameplay was recorded on same pc with Shadowplay (alt-f9--first hit psvr2 passthrough button to see keyboard--on the desktop monitor while the game is running).
