COD: Advanced Warfare Directx encountered an unrecoverable error FIX

This is a solution for people that get the Directx encountered an unrecoverable error in Call of duty advanced warfare.

Actually its a display problem which causes some error in your DirextX software.Follow the steps
1) Right click on the .exe file(game).
2) go to properties
3) tap on compatability
4) tick mark the Disable the display scalling on high DPI setting
5) apply the setting
6) restart your system once
7) run the game and try to run it as an administrator.
8) Do the same thing for any other game if it faces such problem.

For those of u whose problem is still not solved, go to game icon properties, change DPI setting, change value to 100 in advanced setting, remember to sign out in Windows then log in and play

Hey guys, if above method didn't work then try switching Off specular map (something like that, don't know exact word😅) in in-game options.
(I did that for my MW3 and it worked for me! give it a try😉)

I am having this exact same problem, but with Windows 10 :/ how do I fix it in that case? I opened the link of the video, but it says to be only for Windows 8...also works for Windows 10?

i tried this and it didn't work, although i managed to fix the problem by changing my screen resolution to 1280* 720... try it, it works :)

Seriously about to go insane spent 48 hours trying to fix this problem

If dxcpl.exe still does not appear in dir system32 than try installing again selecting all the boxes available in the installation kit and reboot the sistem
