Minnewaska State Park is one of our favorite spots to visit. Its a little over an hour from Northern NJ and NYC area and is just a beautiful area to walk through. The Awosting Falls is nice but really the walk around the lake is just amazing. The views are so worth it and totally compliment the crisp fall air. Great stop if you are going up the Thruway and the town of New Paltz is so cute. Stop by for nature, serene views and a great day.
