He might not have been my favorite avenger but my respect for him shot through the roof after Kate delivered that speech, that really brought it home how she saw him, how we should all see him and that we remember that he not only inspired Kate, but Wanda as well. That he spared Natasha and gave her a family, that he'll look out for Yelena as much as she'll allow him to. He's the real heart of the team, and I think Kate will easily be that role for her team as well.
