It's a miracle his hearing is the only thing he did lose after everything he went through

"VA determined that loss of hearing was not service related"

It's a miracle he's gotten this far 😂

Let’s be lucky that he only got hearing loss.

Kate: What happened?
Clint: Well, let’s see…. I fought an alien invasion, fought a genocidal AI, fought my own friends, and fought a genocidal purple giant. Take your pick!

When you think about it, he’s the only one of the original 6 left, who’s also mortal/not superhuman - Nat and Tony are gone - so it makes sense he’s the one with the ‘mortal’ consequences of the Thanos fights

I feel like he definitely lost part of his hearing when Avengers HQ got carpet bombed.

“Too hard to tell” in the context of the cut scenes had me ROLLING

In the comics, Hawkeye is deaf as well. The man is still dangerous even as his hearing impaired.

With everything Clint has been through, he's lucky that his hearing is the only thing that he lost.

That final groan he makes in endgame killed me

I love this scene for 2 reasons: 1, it's a great nod to the comics where he's deaf. 2, it just adds to Clint being the "Regular guy" on the team, you don't see Cap or Thor with any lasting injuries

the fact that the serious explosion scene is played with Christmas background music lmao 😂😂

I actually love how they're pointing out that even though he's a highly skilled assassin and Avenger. He's just an ordinary dude who can be hurt. And now has health problems from all the time he's had the crap kicked out of him.

The fact this is timed to The Little Drummer Boy is hilarious

I feel bad for Clint.
He seems so relax and doesnt seem to care at all. Feels like he just wants to die at any given time.

That's what I love about Marvel universe, with all the "fantasy" aspects they try to make the stories real. Like, Clint, despite being a professional spy, is still a regular human being, of course he'll go through such consequences, he's not invincible. Just like Tony with his anxiety after New York.

Seeing Nate say “I love you Dad” in sign language is the sweetest part of this show so far.

I love that it this series shows what being a normal human does to you when ur constantly fighting aliens, gods and robots. Hawkeye isn’t invincible, he has lots of skills, but at the end of the days he’s just like you and me and it’s cool they show that, kinda helps ground him and helps us relate to him

I love how this show sort of expands on some of the consequences of Loki and the Chitauri Invasion. Loki's mind stone blast being a contributor to Clint's deafness, Kate in her house witnessing the invasion and losing her father. It's just interesting because of how long ago it was for us and the characters and what's happened since. (Also because I cherish every Loki reference we get because I miss him) But it's like the Blip. We're given a few highlights about it and what happened after, but I'd like to see a film or something from a civilian standpoint of it. Something like that would be catastrophic, but I'd like to see. Like everyone disappearing at the end of IW and what happened with Monica and everyone coming back in WV.
