🔴If you were to buy a truck today, would the Nissan Frontier be your top choice? 🤔

Some of the things you are calling flaws, such as the naturally aspirated V6, are exactly what is drawing former Toyota Tacoma customers to Nissan. Simplicity and reliability that you won't get with a turbo 4. Many truck buyers want a simple interior and dash with analog and knobs, not the big bolt on Ipad screens and techno Japanese nonsense they are putting in Chevy and Fords and Tacomas. Men want work trucks that are reliable and like traditional functionality. End of story.

Those that know trucks, dont want any turbos or hybrid trucks...yep win Nissan!

The "old V6" is the best thing about it!

Wtf! You think a turbo engine is an upgrade? I would buy this truck for the non-turbo V6 if for nothing else

It's funny you mentioned Toyotas turbocharged four-cylinder engine but didn't mention all the recalls for the that engine

Yet the motor will last miles compared to Colorado blowing up at 120000

All 5 of these "flaws" are the reason I bought a Nissan Frontier. I looked at Toyota, Chevy and even Honda before deciding on my 2023 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4 Midnight Edition. It rides, drives, and tows like a truck, which is what I wanted.

Great approach if not broken don’t fix it.

Frontier: is the best REAL truck in the market. Period.

Old school? Customary is a better description. Traditional, also.

If Nissan offered a double cab with the long box in a manual transmission, they would sell lots of them, because Toyota fans have wanted that for years. Toyota gives some lame excuse about fitting into a suburban garage.
Too bad Nissan killed off their manuals.

Changing cosmetic doesn't make the truck better...10yr old frame design just made me change my mind of buying this truck...imo

The V6 is the best thing Nissan got over its competition. Don't look at it as a negative. Toyota decided to play stupid and it shows up in their reliability of the new turbo 4 cylinder.

we dont want a new power train or frame type. we want a regular old n/a v6 with the body on frame design. We want reliability and customizability, not fancy turbos or funny suspension designs

Older technology and frames are a lot better than the new technology

With a lot of TLC, very careful driving, and rigid maintenance, a turbo should last 100K + miles. However the simple fact is that the vast majority of Americans don't do any of that and for them, a NA engine is best.

Just add a supercharger and smoke the competition.
