Our youngest daughter was born in 1983 with cloacal extrophy, single pelvic kidney, spina bifida, ambiguous genitals and an imperferated anus. She spent 5 weeks in the NICU and had her first surgery when she was 1 day old. Up to now she has had 59 surgeries and with always be high risks for additional surgeries. She played sports, showed market cattle for 4-H, got married and has an adopted son. These kids are truly a medical miracle!!
