Love your videos man, my grandpa left hungary in 1956 and made it to Australia by gambling with soldiers on trains to afford a plane ticket, im just now trying to connect with my heritage by learning hungarian language and culture so i can visit my ancestral homeland one day.

Imádom ezt a várost is én is. Szuper a Király utca. Ott van a mackómúzeum - hihetetlen mennyi maci van ott, szenzációs. A tulajdonos hölgy imádni való. No az állatkert is nagyon klassz.

Hey Willie, very nice video. I am big fan of Pecs myself. That main square with the former Mosque has so much class and dignity. It's worth going inside the Synagogue if you haven't done that yet. BTW, on my end, at about the halfway point, your audio and video became out-of-synch. Don't know if it was just me. Be well!-Steve

1:30 Once I did a trip to Iowa and I was surprised when I saw there Kossuth county at first. Great place to live tho.

I was in Pécs in July and loved it. I enjoyed your history of Ferenc, Kossuth, and Szechenyi. I felt Pécs had a missed opportunity with its excellent city walls. If they would just make a proper trail around the whole city and shine some lights on the walls from the ground like they do in Siena and Jerusalem for example, a lot more people would visit the walls and it would be a major part of coming to Pécs and of viewing the city at night.

Never have been in Pecs. But have seen mountain Mecsek from mountain Papuk in Croatia when weather was clear. Can someone tell me is on 6:24 in distance Papuk on horizon? Köszönöm!
