Meet Bhavana Patel, D.O., movement disorders specialist and clinician at the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at UF Health.

From patient care to research, Dr. Patel always makes sure to put others first. Her favorite part about her job is the people that she interacts with in her day to day.

“It is the people that I see, their families and the people that I work with, we all share the common goal of helping others,” said Patel. “There is nothing better than coming to a place where everyone has the same goal in mind.”

Around her colleagues she is also known for her restaurant recommendations. She has named herself “The Foodie at Fixel.”
