Let me be honest since I followed Antonio's channel before the sponsor things and all, and I've got something i wanted to say since a long time ago.
Goodyear welted shoes are superior to blake-stitched shoes.
For the price of Paul Evans shoes, you can get something with heritage+better leather quality made in England shoes
( Cheaney, Alfred Sargent, Herring shoes, or maybe even Crockett and Jones )
I get that Antonio gets sponsored by Paul Evans but I don't think their shoes deserve the price even with 100USD discount offered by RMRS.
When I just started my style journey, RMRS helped me a lot, but now I don't really think Antonio is keeping the same spirit he once did.
So for any of the guys out there, I suggest you get better shoes from UK, better watches from maybe Seiko
( I'm not a watch fan, so I don't know well, but at least I know that crappy youtube-sponsored brands don't deserve the price )
and better clothing from maybe places like Brooks Brothers ( their sale price is really nice ), or look out there for more italian brands if you're fashionable
( Maybe Eidos Napoli, Sartoria Partenopea, or maybe even brands like Orazio if you feel like you want some luxury )
And guys, please, just stop the slim fit thing, people who aren't slim shouldn't wear slim fit, alright?

Thanks for paying attention to what I wrote.

Gentlemen, if you value quality dress shoes made in the good old USA 🇺🇸, Allen Edmonds is selling select shoe models at just under $200, that's a steal considering their shoes cost $400 a pair at full price. At minimum I'd buy some black cap toe oxfords 👞. Free shipping online too.

Like the change of setting shooting on location. Gives the video a new flair.

Antonio, very well put together video. I enjoyed watching it as much as you did while filming it. 😉

Despite Paul Evans shoes being a bit pricey, they look amazing.

It's tough to say which dress shoe is my favourite; but I usually choose oxfords over derbys/bluchers; monkstraps over loafers; and quarter/semi-brogues over wingtips.

You do a lot of great videos, but this particular video was one of the best I've seen you do. Thank you for all of the hard work.

For the record, what you described as a semi-brogue is actually a quarter-brogue. A semi- or half-brogue is defined as having the medallion design we see on the toe, but not the wing-tip shape on the toe cap. Quarter-brogues have broging design on the edges of the leather, but lack the medallion - I have a feeling you've actually gone through this definition correctly on a previous video though. :) Good video though, and good job on dealing with the outside noise - absolutely no problems as a viewer in that regard.

The Paul Evans shoes are worth saving for or treating myself. I love hand made shoes with fine leather and design.❤😊

Wisdom in crowds is a common concept in Marketing, for sure.

In the U.S. go for Allen Edmonds, Alden or Rancourt. In the UK Crockett and Jones, Cheaney, Trickers, Loake and so on. Shoepassion in Germany as well as a few great bespoke and custom offerings around the world.

I prefer the cap-toe oxford. That is my signature shoe.

Antonio one thing you should mention when buying shoes is to buy them late in the afternoon because your feet tend to swell during the day. So, you want to make sure that the shoes fit- otherwise you will wonder why they don't :)

ANTONIO! Can you please help provide some insight as far as what's going on with Paul Evans recently? Since you filmed this video I've noticed things such as 1) The NYC store has closed, 2) prices have risen, and 3) there have been a LOT of complaints online regarding customer service and quality control (e.g. a person returning a pair of shoes that doesn't look nearly as nice as it does online, sending the pair back, and not getting a refund for it--and that's just one example).
What's going on here? Normally a business improves but from everything I gather online PE has been getting worse (and even shadier according to some people)!

I am obsessed with finding a pair of textured or grained leather derby’s or dress boots that have a herringbone or houndstooth cashmere portion. Like black and grey or olive or military/forest green with loden or brown/beige. Or even navy and medium/light blue. Actually having an entire set of shoes, gloves, and belt in that style wouldn’t be bad.
