I’ve never seen this happen to a guitar in my life…

Yeah, that's a common occurrence on Accoustic guitars with a Glued on Bridge.
Mostly on CHEAP/ CHINESE MADE KNOCKOFFS!!!

That happened to my Breedlove Acoustic:
I bought it scratch and dent price cause I didn't see anything wrong with it at first and I thought the markdown was a steal. When I got it home I noticed the same issue, not as extreme though.

I took the strings off and peeled the whole bridge off and sanded it down so it was flat and glue free, and I also removed the glue from the body. I got some super glue and nail polish and reattached the bridge, and fixed any finish peel with the nail polish. Really happy with the results on my guitar cause I got it for such a low price, and the only issue now is the slight inconsistency in the finish due to my nail polish touch-up.

Your guitar seems to be a bit more advanced to repair, but it probably can be done at home still without taking it to a luthier. Fixing the wood is going to be the biggest challenge, but not impossible.

Dude you have to take that to get fixed if the wood is like that already. It looks like a nice one too wouldent want to havr it unplayable
