Ty Law, the man who picked Peyton Manning 8 times in his career

This game kinda encapsulates what I imagine when I think of the 01-04 Patriots. Bad weather, a methodical offense led by Brady, and a Payton Manning MVP year getting smashed by great defense

That Patriots Defense was something else in 2003! Belicheck said the best secondary he's ever coached I would agree.

Manning's worst nightmare--the New England Patriots in a wintery Foxborough.

And Ty Law was the antagonist in the very worst of those nightmares.

If this was today, Eugene Wilson would be suspended for a year for the hits he was giving out in this game.

I still think Peyton Manning sees Ty Law intercepting him in his nightmares.

There were _a lot_ of hits in this game that wouldn't fly in today's NFL. My goodness. Love watching those old Patriots teams. Back when Brady was very good, but not the man. Great team football.

Peyton’s body language after his picks was interesting

Ty Law is one of the most underrated CB’s of all time. The man was incredible.

Ahhh the game where Peyton and Polian cried to the league about the Pats being “too aggressive” only to have the rules be changed and then lose 20-3 the following year in the divisional round

From a 2004 Los Angeles Times Article:

“Through their first two playoff games, the Indianapolis Colts hadn’t punted, hadn’t been intercepted, hadn’t committed an offensive penalty, hadn’t encountered a defense that could slow quarterback Peyton Manning ...

And hadn’t faced the New England Patriots.”

Ty Law, Rodney Harrison, Asante Samuel, Brushi, Vrabel, Seymour, Willie McGinest, Tyrone Poole, Eugene Wilson… ELITE defensive players at every level!!! As an offense what are you supposed to do? 😂

Ty Law certainly made his presence felt in this game. He was everywhere.
