I know most of you are wondering why you'd need another mock exam - when your school already provides one.

Well.... mock exams provide the opportunity to get a reality check on how effective your preparation for the final exam is. Do you really want to rely only on your school to provide that reality check for you?

In recent years, mock exams have been the basis of your predicted grade for the whole course. If you have not sat your mock exam at school yet - wouldn't you want a practice run first?

If the idea of another mock exam sounds vaguely interesting, but you don't have time or are wondering, "is it worth it?"

Let me explain

The biggest and best reason for using another mock exam is:
Using an UNSEEN MOCK EXAM will accurately assess your current IB Physics Grade AND improve your exam technique. If you also use effective markschemes, then you'll develop a clear plan on what concepts and exam techniques to focus your revision on to ensure maximum marks in the final exam.

I've written this mock exam and markscheme to allow you to easily assess your current grade AND formulate a revision plan for the final exams.

CAN YOU USE IB PAST PAPERS INSTEAD?
In a word. Yes.

If you can find a past paper that is unseen and has a full markscheme - you could use that. However, you'll notice that most very recent past papers are not available. This is to allow teachers to use most recent (and unseen) papers as their mock exams in school. As a teacher - I totally agree with that.

This mock exam is just another option in preparing effectively for exams. If it's an option you'd like to take...

If it's not an option you'd like to take - that's totally fine too!
