Love videos like these. I learn more from 20 minute videos like this than hours of random googling and reading forums of people arguing over what timing is safe/what afr to focus on. Thanks Matt!

Best break down of A/F and timing I've seen. Truck is super happy now and no longer going crazy lean and cutting out right before the 1-2 shift! Thanks for sharing the wisdom. Now I just need a Sloppy Best Cam!

Thank you! This general idea fixed a pinging under heavy load issue I've had in the stock 6.0 I dropped into my tow pig! I appreciate the wisdom!

That's Matt. You really make this easier for us to understand.

I am glad I found this video! I just got a terminator x and would like to tinker a bit once I get it running, now I feel confident I’ll get it good enough to get it to the dyno 👍

Dear @Sloppy Mechanics I love you very much and you are a genius. I had major exhaust backfiring that I couldn't find the source of the problem with the base tune, never understood timing, and what the issue was... You have made it so I can drive around without the neighbors thinking there is a drive by shooting. Thank you!

I will smash the like button with a hammer for any and all tuning videos. General info like this is worth its weight in gold.

5 mins in and I already knew problems with my tune haha thanks Matt

Thank you Matt! I realized from watching this that my intermittent stall at idle when hot is probably because I only had 20 degrees in it right to 0 rpm. I will add some in!

Awesome information. I am tuning my Sniper for my built small block and your videos helped me greatly! Thanks!

Most the SBFs end up around 28-36 depending on heads. More aggressive cams wilk favor 13.2-13.8”

This was super helpful for my 6.0 big cam all motor tune! Now if only there was a video walking through the base fuel graph... thanks!

Great video. It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood when I wake up to a Sloppy notification. This helps me with my 6.6l gen 1 on Holley commander 950 dinosaur.

Thanks Matt really appreciate the time you spend to teach us old school carb guys to get into efi. I worked at a shop for three years doing all 1000hp plus vettes and camaros and vipers and all the high dollar builds and our tuner was such a irrigant snooty I know everything and don’t have time to explain it to you tuning snob and you just clarified more In 20 mins than he did in 3 years. I’m gona run the terminator on my build I’m doing now and I just want to be decent at it and do it all my self start to finish. I saved this vid. Thank you. Keep up the killing it we all appreciate it to no end. That’s why guys send you cool stuff your a good guy.

YES! I struggled with this last year after I got my TermX on my cammed lq4. Drove around but was far from optimized and running perfect. This will be super useful when spring comes and I can get back to hot rodding. I will take all the holley basic tutorial content you can make haha
