I watched this video and repeated it after the native speaker read the sentence in order to practice pronunciation as well. When I read, "There were many people at the party." my 5-year-old daughter, who was listening beside me, asked, "Why were there so many people in the bathroom (potty)🚽?" I could not answer anything .😅My pronunciation of "party" sounded like "potty" to my daughter.😆
