A dude without traps is no where near hitting peak natural strength.

Derek MPMD is the ONLY guy on the internet that can make taking steroids seem beyond reasonable

Focus on the fact that there’s a joy in movement. Some people like dance some like sport some like iron. All movement, all good. Just keep moving. Accept the fact that strength diminishes but continuing to lift keeps you stronger than 95 percent of the population and more importantly able to do what you want outside of the gym and stay out of the nursing home. 75 year old lifters are way stronger than the soft 20 year olds who’ve been glued to their couches and video game chairs their whole lives.

Don’t quote me on this. I find when I take a break from it all it’s easier to come back and get back to tip top. Be it a mental or physical boost, I do feel better.

Sounds like you're talking about me 😓... I peaked, haven't been able to go up in my lifts and instead have gone down. Now I'm more focused in hypertrophy which I have seen much improvement in all areas. Once I gave up trying different methods of training to get higher PRs, I can train more days, I'm not as exhausted, and I'm looking better and have gained size. I've thought about drugs like trt at now 40yrs old, but I just don't want to be dependent on it the rest of my life.

He’s right. IT’s insecurities i.e., lack of self esteem.

I am a natural lifter, making great progress, but I am suffering from a pretty shitty form of body dysmorphia that sometimes makes me question my own sanity. I know that I look objectively great, but my mind plays tricks on me more often than not. With that said, I would NEVER jump on the juice train. Its just not a viable choice for me. Once my test levels start declining, I might hop on TRT should I be inclined, but even that seems a stretch right now.

If I were about to start TRT, where would I start to gather the informations needed?

Crazy to think that at 16 I thought once I was 18 I would hop on, now that I'm 18 and have listened to Derek I'm glad I didn't and probably never will

Been lifting for years now and I still am low percentile strength. Biggest draw is the potential strength increases. Not outweighed the negatives, but man it's close.

To crank or not to crank….HA! Hilarious

I think there once people get to that point and want to keep hitting new goals, they should branch out into other things instead of pushing the envelope and push past their natural limit at bodybuilding... well for normal people. Like yoga or strong man style stuff or just you know, become more well rounded.

There’s really no such thing as peak strength I guarantee this guy doesn’t bench 3 plates, If you consistently overload you will always get stronger

thekinghash

He is peak strength? Yeah sorry hard to believe. If you go for strength you kinda also need to bulk up. More mass moves more mass if you understand
