Great looking box, the kind of product I was looking for.
Questions:
1.Does this battery require an exterior fuse, what type and size
2. Can I parallel this battery with my old lifepo4 8s 24v 200A with its own bms. Or can i parallel two EEL 24v batteries?
3. Can it take the seplos 24v bms? I see that people buy it together

Would it be possible to modify this 24V DIY Battery Box Kit for 280Ah/302Ah to 48V for REPT 150Ah cells?
No big modifications are needed because REPT 150Ah cells are the same size as 302Ah, just half of their thickness.
It would just be enough to modify the top bar above the cells with more holes for the preassure release velves and put the old (black) 16S JK BMS in the kit, as well as a option for the new JK Invertet BMS.
It would be great to have a smaller DIY 48V 7, 68Kwh battery kit in the same battery box as the original 24V version.

REPT 150Ah cells have the almost same height=204mm and the same width=174mm as standard 280-304Ah cells, but most importantly are half the thickness=36mm.

In the same 24V = 8x304Ah DIY ELL Battery Box can fit 48V = 16x150Ah.

The same is applicable for the 12V DIY ELL Battery Box:
In the same 12V = 4x304Ah DIY Battery Box can fit 24V = 8x150Ah.

It would be great to have these smaller 48V and 24V DIY Battery Boxes from ELL on the market.

This would not require much modification of these basic 24V and 12V DIY Battery Boxes on the ELL side.

Other suggestions for improvement:
1. Adding new JK Inverter BMS as an option for this modified smaller 48V DIY Battery Boxes would be great with Touchscreen option on front panel.

2. Missing mounting options on these smaller DIY ELL Battery Boxes: the easiest and best would be to add threaded inserts all around the outside of the battery box on each side.
VoltGo Elite Series batteries have the best mounting system using straight plates and angles between the batteries and the surrounding area, take a look and get inspired, it would be great to have these mounting options on your smaller ELL DIY battery boxes too.

3. It would be better with double plus and minus main terminals on front panel.

4. For 12V DIY ELL Battery Boxes Keep the fuse, but also add a Circuit Breaker as ELL have on larger battery boxes.

Nice new Battery Box, one Question is it possible to make the plus and minus connector ports behind the box and only the touch display in the front with the can bus and RS485 port. This were more clean on stackable boxes and would look better without the cables in the front.

Great stuff. Is there any rs485 canbms connection with for instance victron possible? Does it work also with 320Ah CATL Lifepo4 cells?
