Regirust has to be the most terrifying with that description. There's not much scarier than a ruined machine falling apart, shambling around and struggling to move, and then it just SPRINTS at you like an angry bear on a mission.

I remember someone commented about these Pokemons. The more frightening part isn't the state that they ended up in, but rather the thing that made them like this. That is really terrifying thing.

My favorite thing about this concept? _This should not be possible!_ the Regi trio are stated to be made of substances that will never melt, never rust, never wear or break down like this. This could only happen in a timeline where the laws of nature and reality no longer apply. You can only find these versions of the Regis in a _world gone mad!_

They are not dead, they literally CANNOT die. It’s stated in their Pokédex entry, these Regi’s are just broken beyond repair, but can NEVER die.

I think what makes this painful to look and know at is the fact that this Regi Trio is living inside a dead body. What I mean by that is unlike zombies who are walking dead beings, these Pokémons are alive in a body that's been dead for so long. Unlike many ghost Pokémon, this trio is physically latched onto life either unable to die or desperately clinged to life inspite of the dead state and yet they keep fighting although how worse their situation gets.

I am not familiar with new Pokémons so there maybe Pokémons similar to this level of relativity but lorewise, this trio would make a great representation on a world where Arceus is gone, a world without their orgin and especially a living world in a dying universe.

What scares me so much about what’s happening to them, with the way their condition takes too much of a toll and they break down and then have to reboot. It must be like when it’s too dangerous to sleep, but your body can’t go on any longer so you just keep going for as long as you can until you’re trapped

I’d love to see more of these, even thought of a few:

Suicune:Years of global warming has brought this Pokémon to the brink of death. It only lives in the melting polar ice caps.

Entei:After so long burning, it’s flames have nearly perished, and it is in a state of constant pain, trying to find something to relinquish its flames.


Raikou:Already done

Eternatus:After a unbearable period of time of being harvested as an energy source, it is too weak do even roar, let alone provide the energy for Galar. It now sits in the remains of Roses Power Plant.

Zacian:After years and years of sitting dormant, it had awoke without it’s sword being claimed. It acts unpredictably, for it has no owner to be bound to.

Zamazenta:After many long years, it’s shield has deteriorated to a point that it is no longer useful. It’s cries are piercing, for it now has no one to protect.



Regigas:After hundreds of years, Regigas has nearly become forever dormant, for its wiring and will can only keep it alive for so long..

The regis always seems lifeless to me, untill i saw these versions of them. This makes them seem like they are suffering but alive. It makes them feel real and mortal. It somehow gives emotion while seeing them struggle to restart and get going and reboot again. They keep trying no matter the state they are in. It give them the emotion of hope and being real. Its so strange how a few pixels and a little bit of lore changes the whole pokemon. Even if these are fan made, it makes the originals more alive too.

New Regis concepts


Regiburn (regidrago)-this Pokémon cannot contain the immense amount draconic energy that flows through it, and eventually its body started to burn away. It constantly tries to cool itself to no avail.

Registatic (regileki)-as time went on, the rings that stabilized this Pokémon’s electricity had withered away, causing its electrical organ to overflow. it is constantly trying to find Pokemon and people to release its electricity into in a desperate attempt to stabilize itself.

In a post apocalyptic Pokémon game, these would fit PERFECTLY. I could imagine catching these guys and trying desperately to help these Pokémon back to some remnant of there former glory.

If I really had to pick a favorite it'd be Regirust. I'm not entirely sure why, all the wirey bits and seeing the energy move through them might be part of it but other than that I'm not totally sure, the look is just the most appealing to me
