And btw, I think that it perfectly showcases privilege when people who are outwardly privileged and can choose not to show sides of them that would be marginalized, blaming it on the fact that it's not important/or not for others to know. I believe that it more has to do with the subconscious knowledge that those sides, in fact, are treated with less respect and come with more trouble than its worth. But you deserve to live your true self, being accepted for who you are is a cornerstone in good mental health. Just another thought I had..
